SAFETY STARTS WITH KNOWLEDGE

As a diver or instructor, you want to be prepared for emergencies both above and below the surface.

The DAN (Divers Alert Network) courses I offer focus on recognizing, assessing and managing diving related incidents, so you can respond effectively when every second counts.

All courses are taught according to international DAN standards and are recognized worldwide.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider

Learn life-saving skills for respiratory or cardiac arrest.
Resuscitation, AED use and the correct sequence of actions are covered in detail.

Duration: 1 day
Prerequisites: none
Level: basic

BLS (Adult & Paediatric Care) Provider

An extended version of the BLS course with additional focus on care for children and infants.

Duration: 1 day
Prerequisites: none
Level: basic

AED Provider
Specialized training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Ideal to combine with BLS.

Duration: half day
Prerequisites: BLS recommended
Level: basic

First Aid Provider

Learn how to provide first aid for injuries, bleeding, fractures, burns and more.
This course aligns perfectly with the BLS training.

Duration: 1 day
Prerequisites: none
Level: basic

First Aid for Marine Life Injuries Provider
Treatment of jellyfish stings, coral cuts, sea urchins, fish injuries and other marine-related wounds.

Duration: half day
Prerequisites: none
Level: supplemental

Oxygen First Aid Provider

Introductory course on administering oxygen in diving-related emergencies.

Duration: half day
Prerequisites: BLS recommended
Level: basic

Advanced Oxygen Provider

Advanced training building on the Oxygen Provider course, using more complex equipment and scenario-based exercises.

Duration: 1 day
Prerequisites: Oxygen Provider
Level: advanced

Aquatic Oxygen Provider

Focuses on oxygen administration in aquatic emergencies outside the diving context, such as drowning or hypoxia.

Duration: half day
Prerequisites: Oxygen First Aid Provider
Level: supplemental

Medical Oxygen Rebreather Provider

Specialized training in the use of medical rebreather systems for oxygen administration in diving emergencies.

Duration: 1 day
Prerequisites: Advanced Oxygen Provider
Level: advanced

BVM Provider (Bag-Valve-Mask)

Learn how to ventilate using a bag-valve mask (BVM), essential for unconscious victims who are not breathing independently.

Duration: half day
Prerequisites: BLS required
Level: advanced

On-Site Neurological Assessment Provider

Recognize and assess neurological symptoms in (potential) diving incidents, including simple tests to help distinguish DCS.

Duration: 1 day
Prerequisites: BLS and Oxygen Provider
Level: advanced

Dive Medicine for Divers

An in-depth theoretical course covering physiology, decompression illness, pulmonary barotrauma and medical aspects of diving.

Duration: 1–2 days
Prerequisites: BLS and Oxygen Provider
Level: advanced

Combination Programs

Many of these courses can be combined into a single training day.
