About Ferry’s training centeR

FERRY SCHRAM
I have been diving since 1995 and I’m a passionate GUE instructor and professional diver.
I work with the Amsterdam-Amstelland Fire Department as a dive squad leader, diver and firefighter. I am also a diving instructor at Scuba Academie in Vinkeveen, an instructor and safety diver, and I teach dive medical courses (DMB B1/B2/DMT) for BCO in Enkhuizen.
In addition to diving I also provide first aid courses related to diving, but also related to Emergency Response Officers (BHV).
In 2011, I started my own company to offer others the diving experiences and to help elevate their diving skills to the next level.
Throughout my diving career, I have earned an extensive portfolio of certifications and have become an instructor for several courses.
Over the years, I have completed thousands of dives. My experience and interests are mainly in cave diving, deep diving (mixed gas/decompression), wreck diving, CCR (rebreather), ice diving, and DPV (scooter diving). I primarily dive in cold water.
I am also involved in several projects. I am one of the founders of the Fourbanne Exploration Project and contribute to Project Baseline Vinkeveen, History of Vinkeveen, and Project Baseline Sardinia. In 2014, I was also involved with Project Morpheus in Croatia.
The reason I became a diving instructor is that I am passionate about sharing my love for diving with (new) divers.
